Strength:
Excellent clarity & no distortion. Can be used and dual input (High/low) or normal
Weakness:
nothing so far Was looking for something that would handle more power and still sound good. I did research online from "Customer" reviews not from companies that can be influenced by vendors. I read many great reviews on the Polk LSiC and other LSi series speakers. I am very happy with purchase. The price above also included a Polk powered sub-woofer PSW-10. From www.acousticsounddesign.com (Best price I could find online!) Also very quick shipping. I went to a local place to listen to the LSi-15's and am hooked on them (My next purchase) The LSi-FX will be next month. I did listen to the other Polk lower end speakers, and some other brands (Bose, Infinity & Sony)I let my ears judge... Similar Products Used: Bose surround 5.1 speakers |

none Great sounding speaker. Way smoother sounding than my csi5. Fits in well with my Lsi7's. I am currently upgrading to Lsi9's and the combination will be awesome. Got a great deal from Accoustic Sound design. Very professional and courteous. Thanks Mike! Similar Products Used: Polk CSI5 |

Strength:
Very clear
Weakness:
None I'm new to home theatre equipment, but I'm very happy with the Polk LSIC. Surprisingly, it matches well with my Bose speakers. I bought the Polk LSIC from www.acousticsounddesign.com off of ebay. They were very professional and even double packaged. The speaker sounds great and brand new as promised. Thanks Acoustic Sound Design. |

Strength:
Clear accurate vocal reproduction with vivid highs. Beautiful cabinent design.
Weakness:
None The LSiC is the best center channel Polk is producing now. It has a wide dynamic range, very clear, crisp highs on all movie dialogue and multichannel music due to its ring radiator tweeter. These are commonly found on 10k units. Mids are tight and precise. Polk's LSi line is a high quality speaker line for the modest budget. Enjoy them! Similar Products Used: Jbl and Infinity. |

Strength:
Clear crisp voice reproduction at the highest volume
Weakness:
none Absolutely fantastic. I am an avid home theater / TV watcher and I specifically went big into the Center Channel knowing that for home theather it is THE most important speaker. My litmust test is how well a center channel can reproduce voice/clarity and high volumes - and at the highest volumes the voice is reproduced crisply. I considered lower priced speakers, but am glad I spent the extra dollars on a high quality center channel. Similar Products Used: Polk CS245i B&W LCR60 |

Strength:
incredible details, dialouge sounds so realistic. (outstanding!!)
Weakness:
none the Lsci center channel is one of the best sounding center speaker I have used in my home theater system. it has lots of wide dynamic range, vey clear, crisp sound on all movie dialogue and multichannel music. after about one week of usage i noticed that was a magnetic field distortion in the upper right hand corner of my hdtv. I called polk audio and they said that it had to do with the crossover network using a lot electical current. the crossover needed to be shielded,so they send me a new crossover network. I installed it myself. know the lsci center channel is really the best. my problem with distortion is gone i'm really happy that polk audio was able to resolve this situation as qiuckly as they did. any one purchasing polk speakers should pat them selfs on the back for buying such high quality speakers for such little money. thanks to matthew polk and his brillant engineering skills of sound & music. also his customer service representitives, kim, ken, laura and josh were very helpful and understading to my needs. thank you vey much for all of your help. my hat off to matthew polk and his company and his great team behind him. hip,hip hooray!!! THE LSCI IS THE BEST. Similar Products Used: RM5400-CENTER, BOSE-C10, CS245I |

Strength:
Excellent sounding center channel. Sounds great on music too.
Weakness:
Four ohm speaker- may need a bit of power. Also too few places to give it a listen. The center channel is the most important speaker in a home theater set-up since it handles most of the dialogue and sound. It also needs to have a matching sound (timber) with the two front speakers so that sounds can move seamlessly across the soundstage. I have been dissapointed with my choices for center channels in the past. No longer. The Polk LSiC is an excellent speaker by itself, but it is really excellent in a system with other LSi speakers. I have the LSi9s for mains and LSi7s for rears, but you could use any of the LSi series, since they all use the same tweeter and drivers. The sound is as good as the rest of the line. Voices have amazing clarity and the soundstage is wide. in the set-up. They have great dispersion, so you don't have to be sitting just in the "sweet spot" to get the best effect. Some center channel speakers lack the frequency responce and so they sound small or tinny- not much better than just using the TV speakers. Not this baby. Polk says it will go down to a +/- 3db low of 52 htz. All of this combines to give a room full of accurate sound- which is what you want in a good home theater set-up. Give them a listen. none Bought the Polk Audio LsiC to replace CS-100. It turned out to be a fantastic deal and quality. I can't wait to replace my current rm-3000 sub/sat with the LS series in the very near future. Similar Products Used: CS-100 |
