I purchases this speaker from Best Buy for $99.99. This speaker will surprise you . The bass produced is loud and clear from a 90 watt 5.1 receiver. My home movie experience is enhanced beyond the normal stereo listening mode. A good addition to any home system.

The only reasons why I bought this centre channel are I was in a pinch for a centre and it was cheap. Overall I am impressed with the sound quality for a Sony product. I have a long history with Sony and failure, they seem to go hand in hand. It Is kinda dry compared to my Mission towers. I recommend this centre channel for basic systems but nothing too special.

I have honeslty never been a big fan of Sony speakers or any speaker made by a company which doesnt specialize in audio products but after listening to these i realized their not so bad. I purchased these for my basement sound system (which is lower quality than main floor sound system) and they add an understandably good sound. Theyre also really good for the price and its nice in the sense that it is the same brand as the TV it sits on. If you have a low budget and want decent "ok" sound buy these. However i would never consider putting this center with my upstairs sound system.
