Not a review - see comments. I have been looking for a set of HT speakers to buy for my son, and read the Stereophile review (June, 1999) on the AR1. I recently bought an ARS300 subwoofer for my own HT system, and found a great price on all of the AR speaker line at "Accessories4less.com". Timmy D is allowed to double post Haven't bought them yet, maybe will, maybe won't, but guys that are so unhappy with their purchases should maybe spend a bit more time with the critical listening aspect of the decision making process. Can't help but wonder about the usefulness of a site where one who has a vendetta against a company can slander it and effect the decisions of other buyers based on a precieved bad purchase. Maybe the 5 stars will negate the 1 star that one unhappy person gave these speakers - twice Similar Products Used: Older AR's, Cambridge, Bose |
