Strength:

Crisp clear highs, punchy low bass. Play very loud...

Weakness:

No spikes for feet. May tip over if aggravated.

I must say that I am pleasantly surprised with these speakers even though I did not have the ability to audition them. They have a nice piano finish on top and bottom. They have a small footprint compared to my previous vega vs-120s. They also have gold binding post on the back.
They have good, crisp highs and low, punchy bass. They do not have the low, loud bass that one would expect from 8" - 15" woofers but what would you expect from 6.5" woofers? Of course a separate sub will help if you have the $.
If you are looking into speakers that sound great and don't want to spend $ on inflated prices, try Bic America Acoustech Ht-75s! I only gave a 4 out of 5 overall rating since the bass wasn't exteme....

Strength:

Very clean, non-fatiguing highs, warm mids, nice looks. I would place them on par with Klipsch for quality looks, smooth sound and powerful dynamics.

Weakness:

None I've noticed. As with 40" towers they can tip easily even with the integrated feet and they do not come with spikes. Without a sub the bass is a little weak for a floor-stander. No bi-wire capability either.

BIC's horn-loaded Acoustech towers provide a great deal of sound at a bargain price and are a great alternative to the Klipsch Reference or Synergy towers. (I've owned the RB-25's and SB-2's - both great bookshelf speakers). The Acoustech HT series have a similar driver complement to the Synergy's (aluminum tweeters and IMG cones) and they're finished with piano-gloss tops and bottoms. What makes these speakers really stand out sonically are their clarity in the upper range and warm upper-bass and mids without having the vocals sounding bloated. Typical of horn-loaded designs, these play loud with a minimum of amplifier power. My advice is to get the center and surrounds for the full acoustic effect. I use a Boston VR-500 for sub duties.

Strength:

Nice build quality,Great sound quality, horns not to bright as horns can be,nice and loud with no distortion.

Weakness:

Common..Are you kiddin?

Lets get one thing straight..This speaker line from Bic Is awesome. Its a shame that The first review was from someone who Instead of getting a reciever thats sounds good would rather change the cross-over in his speakers to suit..Oh well. First off,the Bics look and sound great...Like the Professional reviews state: These horns sound just as If not better than the top of the line Klipch line It competes against..And at a fraction of the cost. The first thing I noticed Is the non shrill quality that the Bics possess..A very LARGE AND NON-DIRECTIONAL soundstage with very high sensitivity.Build quality Is above par for a speaker in this price range, piano gloss tops, bottoms. They also are capable of substaining very loud passages, nice and dynamic....I hope that more people give these speakers a try like I did,you won't be sorry!!
