LOOKED FOR A WHILE TO FIND A NICE SET AND WAS FORTUNE ENOUGH TO FIND A SET THAT WAS NEW IN THE BOX! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO ANYONE WHO DEMANDS THE BEST WHEN IT COMES QUALITY SOUNDING AUDIO.

Fantastic speakers.. if you can find a pair. Nice bass for a small box, but the real surprise is the remarkably tight sound the rock solid acoustic suspension cabinets provide along with beautiful mids and highs courtesy of the famous a/d/s/ dome tweeter (I've also owned a/d/s/ L1530's).

The L400e caught my ear, in of all places, a local toy store where they were pumping out the store's background music. It didn't take long for me to notice the great sound and hunt down its source.. a pair of L400e's. I started my search and finally lucked out in finding a pristine pair on that auction site for less than $200.. what a bargain!

Before you drop megabucks on some over-hyped 'mini monitor' you owe it to yourself to try these gems.

Strong metal housing. Great tweeter with strong bass for a 6 1/2 inch woofer.

Not incredibly powerful bass, bt not bad for small woofer.

What a fantastic speaker. These very small speakers put out amazing sound. Of course, they are from a long line of great speakers (the entire L400 series performs great). These blend right in to their surroundings and have built in wall brackets to mount them on a wall. They are very solidly built and will last a long time.
