in 1974 i bought 2 pair of larger advents to listen to my new marantz 19
29 years later i am still listening to this system.
these speakers eat it up, dish it out, and never complain.
well, the surrounds go, but easily repaired.
frequency response is well beyond what many recievers
can even try to produce
i've always said that your system will only sound as good
as the speakers you use, but these speakers only sound
as good as what your using to drive them. they add almost nothing of their own to the tonal quality. in fact i almost wish i could cut the low end a little so they won't challenge the sub woofer for the bottom end, it's kinda like a self contained earthquake with a 5.1 system using
six large advents and a sub-woofer
