OK...I'm a Finn and the speaker comes from Sweden, from our beloved enemy (ice hockey)! So this is quite a lot sayd from a Finn...you can spend a HECK of a lot more money, BUT THE SPEAKER JUST WON'T GET ANY BETTER!
High-End sound for low-end money!

What is there to say...close your eyes and HEAR THESE!

Ok Í´m from sweden and this is a swedish loudspeaker. However this the best sound you can get for the money.
I don´t understand why more people don´t buy them.
Get ride of your old speakers and buy Black Diamond.

Deep bass level, details, brightness and large sound spectrum, air flow port on the downside of the speaker making it easy to find the right placement. Stereo picture and the placement of the instruments is just too good for that pricelevel! Nice look and of course, the pair of white gloves that follows with each speaker!

The cabinett with no resonance at all makes the speaker almost too neutral. Playing lot of bass makes the middle/high frequencies disappear for a moment, not easy to hear, but the lack of separate middlefrequency-speaker is sometimes hearable (?). Very controlled sound makes the music sound lifeless with low-quality amp/cables/source.

What can I say? If you´re watching for a good buy in the big loudspeaker-world, take a look at those nice high-finish black speakers. They look great and sound like many speakers in the middle high-end area. Almost too good to believe... classical music, jazz, blues and acoustic will blow your ears if you own nice amp... I like the way those speakers make the cd-source sound like the old good LP... high details and good control on all frequencies (25-22000).

Take care not to scratch the floor, the spikes really are sharp...

Canton much more expensive and I prefer the fast bass of Black Diamond. Blue Diamond slightly better (for some kind of music) but not for all.

Dali not even close!

Bought a five speaker system with four Black Diamonds and one center Black Vector. The sound is incredible!

I just got these today and they're really great. I don't think that better speakers can even exist :)
there are no negative things to said about these diamonds. buy them if you want the best :)

I love this speaker for its detailed, transparent sound. Being a guitarplayer myself, I always get chills down my back when I listen to the accurate reproduction from any of my favorite recordings. I think this speaker is optimal if you're into acoustic/vocal music, altough I'm sure it can handle anything I throw at it.
You will never find a better speaker when it comes to price/performance.
And it's good looking too....

For those of you that need that extra "thump" in the bass, I would consider the Blue diamond. Or do as I did: hook your Black Diamond up with the B2.27 (Audio Pro subwoofer) for the FULL picture. The obove mentioned combo plays better than any of the $1600 speakers I listened to today.

Do yourself a favor and listen to these babies.

Precise sound reproduction, good value, good looks

Fingermarks at the finish are inevitable.

This was my first step into the high-end world of audio, and one thing is certain.. I have to replace the rest of my equipment a soon as possible. The speakers reproduces every weakness in it. My CD-player humms, my amplifier hisses, and my cables filters the treble.

This is a good all-round speaker but it really excells with auccoustic and vocal music. Good and precise base, but an additional sub would not hurt.

The speakers are really accurate and neutral. Beautiful finish (comes with a pair of white gloves for handling to prevent getting fingerprints at it) complete with spikes and rubber-sockets so that you doesn't have to ruin the floor.

Highly reccomended.

Hi !!
What can I say - I bought these speakers as a replacement for my old DALI 350, they cost the same and the Dali is a real good speaker too.
But when I connected the Black Diamond and put the first record in the cd, it felt like a new dimension opened up ! Details I never heard before and the bass went deeper and cleaner than the Dali's !
Without aa doubt give it a BUY RECOMMENDATION !!

Very clear sound and a deep and natural bass. And biggest
of all, the price.

None at least for this price.

I've had these for more than a year and I was very
satisfied with the way they sounded. When I replaced my
old Denon amp with a new Nad S300 I found out how good they
really was. I was really surprised how well they responed
to this superb amplifier.
I previous used them together with a Audio Pro B1.35 sub
but I don't think it is needed anymore.
If you don't want to spend thousends of dollars, buy a pair.

After i have read the rewiews here and on other sites and test reports about B/D, i went to the store and listen...and "wow" i said to myself.Does they really don´t costs more than 5000 SKR?
The bass is controlled and goes very deep,the midrange is smooth and clear,the high friquency doesn´t hiss even when you play really loud.

They dont play techno and that kind of music as good as they play rock,pop and heavy metal.

I can really recommended this speakers.
