Strength:

Clean sound, excellent bass, inexpensive

Weakness:

None that I can see

This was my first stereo purchase, so I did the research and stumbled upon the well known (among audio enthusiasts) Axiom brand name.

I took a chance a purchased these speakers, untested, and I did not regret it. I only wish I could afford two more for the rear surrounds.

I have them hooked up with a Harmon/Kardon AVR-120 receiver, and it's a very pure sound, with no problems.

I was looking for full, rich sound, and I found it.

They sound incredible and can give pardigm a serious run for the money. And I would like to say that someone used my name under false pretences of the review of the m40ti. A great buy highly recomend.

Audiophile Quality; everything

I recently purchased my Axiom speakers from Marc Hallam of Audio Shop in Ontario, Canada: Excellent customer service, quick 2 day delivery to Southern California, and an outstanding value.

The system costs only $1250, consists of a pair of M60Ti's (front), a VP150 (center channel) and a pair of M22Ti's (rear surrounds). I am very impressed with the built quality, sleek and classy black look. The gold plated binding posts are topnotch. These speakers sounded phenomenon from the start, however, it will even sound better after a little burn-in time.

The M22Ti is a step up from a award winning M3Ti. The M22Ti has two 5.25" woofers and a 1" titanium tweeter that produce a very accurate and enveloping acoustic quality. I use these as my surround speakers but for a small room, you can use these as the front speakers. As surround speakers, these babies can go from very low to very high without being bright or harsh. I heard a lot a small details and special effect sounds with much more clarity and realism that I did not hear before. It's a smooth and transparent sound stage. I'm very impressed, amazed to be exact, with the acoustic spectrum these M22Ti's reproduce.

I played my 5.1 music sampler audio DVD and I was blown away by the deep, rich and transparent sound stage from these speakers. From the percussion, piano, cello to the guitar, I listened and heard every single note with distinct clarity and realism. The midrange that I listened to filled a big void that my previously outstanding satellite system could not achieve. Now I listen to musical notes at their fullest range that I've never heard at home before, as though it was live.

I then tested these new HT speakers with Matrix, Fifth Element, Dinosaurs, U571...again, the rich realism effects/sounds were enveloping. The front (M60Ti) and rear (M22Ti) speakers deliver all the highs, lows, minute effects and loudest explosions while the center channel (VP150) reproduces accurate, true to life human voices. It was awesome. I have to watch all my DVDs over again. These speakers have plenty of juice to shake up my entertainment room, 22'W x 22'D x 20'H vaulted ceiling, if not the whole house.

In all, I love these speakers for their well built quality, uncompromising sound, simple and elegant design and outstanding value. I've auditioned PSB, Paradigm, B&W and Energy speakers. Axiom speakers' sound quality is as outstanding, if not better, for much less money. It's unfortunate that Axiom is not well known in the U.S. I highly recommend Axiom speakers. Buy them and you love them.

Give Marc a call/e-mail at WWW.Audioshop.on.ca, he's a very friendly guy and will answer all of your questions.
