Midrange sounds wonderfull, at any situation.Detailing, clarity, soundstage, you can hear for hours without musical fatigue. It's beautifull, real wood finishing, strong cabinet.

The stupid, cheap and unbeliavable grills, like said before.

A very nice speaker, at a good price. Highs are pleasant and absolute sober( for a metalic dome). Bass is powerfull( mostly if you use a good amp). Excelent detailing( it's a real musical speaker!). Perfect for stereo. Fst driver is a great improvement to the cm's. I don't use it for movies, only stereo and I consider the cm6 better than 705 and 704 for this.

The grills are kind of 'cheesy', but since I've taken them off it's no bother.

I bought the floor models from Sound Solutions and have not been sorry for one second. These speakers are beautifully made and the sound is accurate, sweet very "English" sounding. I'm using custom made shotgun bi wired speaker cables which really make the speakers SING. I listen mostly to Classical, Jazz, Vocals, Opera....and occasionally Rock. These speakers handle everything with aplomb. I do think they sound better with the grills off.
