The easiest way to describe this speaker is that it shouldn't sound this good at the internet prices. The technology is good with Peerless woofers and passive radiators and the Vifa tweeter is famous for the overall sound quality. However, what makes this speaker work well is the amount of effort B.I.C. put into the size, crossover, and perfect mating of speaker components. Maybe the best bass available in any speaker selling for less that $1000/pair, and imaging is superb, highs are airy and the mid range is very smooth without harshness. Both male and female singers have a very natural sound without that overtone that some speakers give you. In conclusion, this speaker should not sound as good as it does, but that's the beauty of owning them.
