I have had the VR30 for about a year and have been very happy with them. They are great for HT setup as well as music. Very good bass, and clear mids |

Strength:
Good bass, great power handling, good movie sound
Weakness:
little bright I have had these speakers for about 4.5 years I also have the vr 12 center speaker, and the cr 8 for the rear speakers. One thing I can say about these speakers is that they can take a huge amount of power, I'm running three QSC 2450 amps on my five speakers ( 500 watts per speaker into 8 ohm), these speaker can play very loud without stress. The vr tweeters are slightly bright but not overly, the bass is tight and fast ( it out pound me friends two home subs) for movies these speakers are great they bring out the sounds with great presence and punch, Similar Products Used: Paradigm studio 40 |

I have had these speakers for over 2 years now and I am still very impressed by the chewy nature of the sound it makes. The highs are a tad bright, the bass is a little muddy, but it also depends on the placement of the speakers. Away from the wall about 30 inches gets rid of the muddiness. The imaging is as good as any speakers I have listened to. My friend got some Paradign Studio Monitors, granted they are very faithful, but are not as lively to listen to. These speakers just engross you in the music, begging for higher and higher volume. |
