Strength:
Compact and clean - ideal for bookshelf or surround use
Weakness:
Not enough low-frequency extention for a 6.5" woofer These speakers rocks for being so small. Used them as bookshelf speakers when I had an apartment. Highs were very clear. Once I moved into a house and hooked up the home theater setup, they became the surrounds. They were rather inexpensive but sound like speakers that cost more. Finding stands to go with them was rather tricky since they're a little too heavy to mount to the wall, but they handle DD signals rather well. Highly recommended! Strength:
Don't distort at loud volumes. Crisp, clean sound. Inexpensive.
Weakness:
Not much bass (but then again, it's a bookshelf speaker.) I use these with a Harmon/Kardon AVR20 MKII reciever and listen to mostly alternative music. I bought these brand new for $75 for the pair, a steal at that price. I use them in my dorm and they can pump out a good chunk of noise without distorting. Works especially well with a subwoofer. Package was missing a set of feet though and one of the speakers had a corner bent in. Other than they the work well for me. Good midrange and highs.
