Very versatile sub-woofer. It's down firing, so it acts like a table as well. Can expand spectrum for Home Theater or tighten the bass for good music listening. Not many complaints. Although I would reccomend using the speaker in a carpeted room because the bass carries a lot better through the carpet then directly reflected by a hard surface. Inexpensive and self powered. When cranked to the max, the speaker produces a weak, "thunk" kind of thump. I don't max it out though and it sounds fine. probably because too much movement.
