I bought these for about $100 and they sound a $1000 more expensive! They are durable but i did have to upgrade the fuse to 3.0A from 2.5A cause i kept blowing my fuse. i love them they shake my whole house! I was skeptical cause they are kinda old but damn these things sound brand new!

I had these from 2000-2006 I bought them from a friend who bought them from a friend a few years earlier. Dunno how old they are. I sold them to my cousin's boyfriend and he still has them to this day and he's thinking of selling them now because of the neighbours.. If I had the cash to spend on a new amp I would have bought them back again today. The thing is these a quality speakers, they never die!! I have played them like hell.. All the owners have and they fu**ing live forever. And they play so amayzing with a proper amp. And if I'm not mistaking they have a fuse? on the back so they go before the speaker so.. yes! :)

Bought my VS120's in May 1995 and 14 years later I still love them!!! Bass is clean and powerful. Mids and highs are very well defined. I listen to all sorts of music and I've always been happy with these VS120's. Side note: If you move like I do, three times across the country, wrap in plastic and blankets. They do fine in moves even in the heat of the summer!!!!! That tells me how good the rubber has stayed for 14 years!!! |

The best speakers I have ever owned, were the vs-15. I sold them 10 years ago to a friend. Regret it ever since. Just went looking on Kajiji and found a set of vs-12's, was a little reserved...but realized the size was right for my home. Must have been a younger me thinking I needed the big ones. These new..old ones...fill my entire upstairs..with lots of base. The sound is clear and loud as I remember. I am very glad to get them back. I paid $300 for a black set in perfect condition...no sun damage on subs. I spoke to the owner of Glubes Sound Studio in Dartmouth he says that Cerwin are now crap...he dropped the line after they sold the company off and all the product is made in China.
