I have owned the Cygnus just over a year. When I bought it I was deciding between the ELAC FS207 and the Chario Cygnus. I chose the Cygnus because it is warmer sounding and has more emotion in the vocals. Hand Made in Italy, when you see the quality and workmanship, it is better then the pictures can show.
Over time as I upgraded wiring in my audio system and tried a few other speakers. I realized that the Cygnus reveals system changes more then the average audiophile speaker.
Meaning as you upgrade a component or interconnects or speaker wire, you will immediately hear more of a noticeable change then the average high-end speakers. Great for a person like me who makes audio system changes more then once a year.
For value I give it a 5 out of 5, but a 4 out of 5 star overall only because the ELAC had more air and a wider soundstage, so there are areas it can improve on.

Build quality, holographic imaging ability, great transparency, design, natural, non-headache sound is making the listening for the long period very pleasurable.

For the few poor euros i have paid for this prodigy? None of course.

Normally these speakers are maid with the famous t 38 tweeter. I own a rear model of Sygnus, the Sygnus Leaf with the Chario t 27 Leaf, green coloured textile tweeter.


This are such a stunning loudspeakers. I am amazed by their transparency and detail ability. The imaging is truly holographic at some recordings and the hi is soft and natural. The mid frequencies are very warm an life-true. The bass reproduction is surprisingly tight an well balanced with the mid and hi frequencies for the modest size of this wonderful speakers. The build quality is very well, typically Italian. For the listeners of electronic/ambient music this is a dreamspeaker.
