Strength:
Great highs and mids, good lows. Blends very well.
Weakness:
If for some reason you didn't have a sub, the lows would be a little flat. I lucked out on eBay. I have a full set from two different people. I have the 4" set with 6.5" midbass. I have the mids highed to 800Hz via a seperate Xover and the midbass 100 to the supplied Xover. Awesome system. One word of advice: give it close to full RMS. Strength:
Decent midrange, seemingly uncolored highs
Weakness:
Somewhat weak in the lower frequencies for a 6.5", I guess that's why they created their new midbass Overall a decent set of components. I am unsure how they get all of the praise in the only other review posted here. Must have been the manufacturer, damn schill. Strength:
I love the soft, not too shrill highs! They carry throughout my vehicle very well.I am running a Soundstream 404(100x4)on these and on Boston 4x6 plates...sounds very nice.I love the shallow mounting depth also.
Weakness:
These speakers have only weakness...it is not clarity, nor volume,it is lack of low-end-umphh!I am still impressed though...afterall that is what the sub is for...right!?! If you have a mid bass or sub that can cover 200hz and deeper, then you will be allright. These ar some sweet pieces! Similar Products Used: better than Infinity Kappa's(they tend to color the highs/DEI's sound sweeter) |
