Strength:
Extremely ACCURATE sound at very high listening levels. Very articulate.
Weakness:
Must be driven with high (200 watts)power to achieve realistic sound. I was very disappointed with these initially, since my receiver only had 100watts to deliver. I managed to find an old Phase Linear 400 at a great price. After hooking my pre-out to the Phase Linear, these speakers now really shine. Bass is accurate, but doesn't do justice to the rest of the sound. Must reinforce with a subwoofer. |

Strength:
AWESOME
Weakness:
low end I dissagree with the previous reviewer on these speakers. In my opinion they don't need that much power as long as its quality power. They sound incredible, with the trademark dynaudio sound...for less than half the cost. they are quickly becoming unavaliable though. They feature the upper-end dynaudio drivers and the cabinets are up to you to build well. I power mine with a 45x2 creek amp and before that a 20x2 homebuilt pass and they will just hammer with the creek. The lows are not quite as apparent as you would expect out of an 8" driver. But they make up for it with awesome sounding mids and highs. Awesome sounding speaker, awesome imaging. The realisim is just plain unbelievable though. Highly recommended for someone who wants quality sound for nearly 1/2 the price of a production model Similar Products Used: Paradigm Studio 60s |

Strength:
Trasparent sound, revealing and weighty bass
Weakness:
Bass driver may be oversized for this designed To to its dual cabinet design, this loudspeaker is far more difficult to build than those with single one. Similar Products Used:
