2019 година закупих чисто нови такива колони, вярвам, че бяха последна бройка, невероятен късмет за покупката! Черен пияно лак, ръчно лакирани до колко разбрах, лимитирана серия, не черни, а пияно лак! Закупих ги заедно със стойките. Ходих до Румъния да ги взема. В крайна сметка успях да закупя CONTOUR S 1.4 Разопаковането беше интересно, няма как да се запечатат отново без да личи. Сложиха бели памучни ръкавици, за да не надраскаме черния полиран лак, изключително красиви! Първо ги сглобихме в един приятел, за да ги разработим. Там ги занесох след покупката, сигурно в 22ч вечерта се върнах от Букурещ. Голямо вълнение за всички. Започнахме с Mr.Bone - смайващо за неразработени колони.. Изключителна сцена, динамика, бързи баси, всичко се чува отчетливо. Пищялките са феноменални. Малки колонки, но изключителен звук. Ако се включат с подходящата апаратура и се сложат в подходящата стая, можеш да си слушаш аудиофилски.Има достатъчен детаил, с качествени файлове, направо си на сцената. Ако пускате некачествени записи, няма какво да очаквате от тази колона. Слушайте и се вълнувайте! Отделете поне час да слушате и тогава коментирайте. Успех на всички!

Относно слабостите на тези колони мога да споделя, че в средите имат недостатък,може да има повече детаил, който ако го сравним с колони с хартиен говорител, разликата е много голяма, ама там ще има проблеми с високи и ниски.. Не знам кое е най-добре, но колоните са много добри!

This review is for Dynaudio Contour S1.4LE .It has upadated crossover parts with mundorf capacitors and new twetter coating.Strengths:bass,midrange,highs,imaging,soundstage These S1.4 LE sounds more alive ,better bass,punch and imaging compared to original.I like the sound of these speakers more than original confidence c1 ,s1.4 and harbeth shl5.Some stores has still in stock. It is real barging for the money and more,because speakers cost with every goes up.It sounds great with krell kav500i,synthesis roma 37dc+ amp

Strenghs:one of the best bookshelf speakers,especialy for used price.Organic ,dynamic ,relaxing ,free listening fatigue sounding speakers with slight touch of dark sounding character.Fantastic bass for such small speaker ,very well controled deep bass(easy to follow) accompanied with soft ,detailed ,rhythmical highs and astonoshing vocals reproduction.Works good with powerfull amps,like Krell.The stands is must .The best would be to use dynaudio stand4,because it will enhance soundstage and bass.
Weaknesses:fussy abaut positioning,needs a lot of time to playing even if it was used sometime ago,so you have to be patient otherwise you end up selling it on ebay:) Sometimes they mess intruments ,I mean separation of instruments could be better,when playing difficult songs from orchestra or something like that,but don't forget these are small speakers:)

One of the best monitor you can buy.

The other monitor speaker I own is a pair of the B&W 805 Signature Bird Eye is also beautiful. But in terms of soundstage, bass, dynamics, more neutral, focus and musicality the Dynaudio is clearly a winner.

You don't need a hefty amp for the S1.4. I 've tried several poweramps. This speaker sings(of course) with the Levinson No. 27, but also with the unbeatable price/ sound quality more than 20 years old Rotel RB 850 poweramp with only 50 wpc.

They do everything well except deep deep bass.

You need a hefty amp. Think at least 100 watts. preferably 200watts and high current. But they're like Frankenstein's monster, give em current and they come alive alive alive.

Fantastic speakers, incredible bass and dynamics, great midrange and highs. It does everything well and sounds huge. They pretty much sound like floorstanders. I'm too lazy to write a full review so that's the capsule version.

Sound quality, build,

None, wonderful speaker for the cost

What can be said about these Danish speakers, energetic,vivid,direct. The 1.4's give a big deep soundstage, the bass is powerful and deep and congeal well with the highs. The esotech tweeter gives brilliant highs that never sounds laid back or soft.
The 1.4 also love good amplification, 100w or more will suffice in a medium to large room.
The stands are an integral part of these speakers, without them they would loose there sexy appeal.

Defiantly worth your hard earned dollars

Nothing I did not mention already

I can only say that dynaudio did it again! This product is again a best seller. I have owned the contour 1.1 the 1.3 and the 1.8. I always loved monitors because I am not a real bas freak. On the other hand it is always a miracle how low these monitors go.
If you want a monitor speaker which can take everything and sounds like heaven try these! Combine them with the Stand 4 from Dynaudio.
Oh almost forgot: they need good amplification. I have a Accuphase E-407 and that works!!
Only problem I have is that the grain is not matching. Dynaudio always deliver a pair that has the same structure but this pair is not quite matching. Hope they are willing to solve this problem!

Pin point imagry, neutrality,finish.

Slightly bright whem compared to the Dynaudio Confidence C4. Not the most exciting speakers.

These carry the Dynaudio pedigree through and through. They sound VERY neutral, with excellent top to bottom integration, and image brilliantly. They are ideal for medium sized rooms-say up 80 cubic meters in volume and must be placed away from room boundaries in order to get a neutral frequency response with a natural bass extention. They crave power and must be mated with at least 100 of solid watts. Voice reproduction and piano are handled exquisitely.
Although they go down to 40 hz. , a good subwoofer, such as the REL strata compliments them brilliantly, as do first class ancillary equipment and cabling.

Voice of angels

Other brands do 3D maging much more easily. I will update my review when I get better Cables. A little boxy sound. They are quite small and don't expect they sound awesome with cinema like Saving private, Band of Brothers... Contours center is quite expensive (1300$ at new ) so I will buy the audience 122.

Equipments: Denon Dv 2900 & Rotel AV amp The most important thing you'd be fully aware before buying Dyna speakers is that you need very high and very expensive AV electronics.... ...don't hesitate to spend more at least nearly 1000 USD on IC and speaker cables. Otherwise you will make it suck and you quickly blame the Dyna speakers. Dyna is very difficult in set-up to sound good and even more difficult to get " the best " from them. ..but good luck and enjoy the life with Dyna.
