you will feel like cheating for getting such a good set of towers for this price. might feel guilty if one of your friends just bought klipsch RF series for way more and these make his speakers sound week and then will feel remorse after he starts crying after finding out how much you paid

I bought these off the elemental designs website. If you buy multiple speakers, and/or subs, they will give you a 15% discount on the package. These towers were run off an onkyo tx-sr805 reciever which pumps out 160 watts rms at 6 ohms and they love every minute of it. These are a fantastic set of towers. They are 3 way with a 6.5" midrange and two 6.5" bass drivers. The bass output if fantastic. very pronounced and crisp. I listen to very fast heavy metal and these are one of the few speakers I have ever heard that can effortlessly reproduce double bass and blastbeats at speed. Drums sound absolutely clean and have excellent punch. Being a former guitarist I can say that the speakers can make that "crunch" sound just the way it sounds when coming out of my amplifier when playing heavy palm-muted riffs. When my roomate hooked up some of his rap to it, I was also impressed. very clean sound with rap and also acoustic music. Don't get me started on the tweeters. by far the smoothest tweeters I have ever heard. Never fatiguing, even when played at high volumes for an extended period of time
