An excellent sound from an almost invisible source! Superior in every way to Bose. I have the new home theater setup with the powered subwoofer, and when playing dts recordings the imaging is absolutely amazing. For the price, nothing in its class can beat it.

I actually have a pair of Gallo Nucleus References and the reason I am writing this review is to praise Mr. Gary Pelled of Gallo Acoustics for the excellent technical support that he provides and the excellent repairs that he does. I sent the units to him because of a small buzz coming from one of the CDTs. He replaced both of the CDTs and changed the internal wiring to that of the most recent manufacture type and sent the speakers back with no other charge than that of shipping itself. He did all this with no questions asked. I did not even mention the word "warranty" - I could not as I was the second owner of these speakers. This level of sincere and selfless effort in support of a product is really unusual in my experience and I am really grateful to them (and really happy with my speakers again).

Hole in lower mids & upper bass -- 100-125 hertz.
Pricey.

Eye-opening disappearing act. Great on female vocals. Weak on baritone and bass vocals. Definite lack of cohesiveness in the upper bass/lower midrange. $150 per ball seems a little pricey.

I purchased 5 satellites a powered subwoofer and an unpowered subwoofer. The powered sub is connected to my front while the unpowered is connected to the rears. The center channel is set to small enclosure. The sound is absolutely magnificent. The speakers are hidden from view and you cannot tell where the sound is coming from. I love them and they sound a whole lot better than BOSE!
