5mm thick Solid machined Aluminium, threaded directly into the Plywood/solid wood, minimizes the resonances of the port itself, increases accuracy of the tuning and minimizes port turbulence & noise. The front cover is designed to have no audible influence on the performance. We use solid stainless steel side rods, and high quality fabric woven rubber strings to protect the drivers.
