I have listened to the Vs in numerous rooms with very different types of equipment, The Genesis Vs always soundstaged beautifully and had very good dynamics.However, not one time ever did the bass integrate with the music. Even after many adjustments it never once became a coherent whole.
This is 'HiFi' type sound, never realy musical but revealed a lot on the recording.
Overall a very detached-sounding speaker system due to the servo woofer system etc.
Three stars because of the soudstage (much cheaper speakers get five stars, not because of value for money but for performance). 2 stars if price was taken into account

I listended to this on loan, and it was incredible. I was driving this with a SOnic Frontiers Power 3, with KT 88, it was fabulous and musical. My preamp is an ARC ref 1, with Linn SONdek LP12, vahalla, and Linn cartridge Archiv B, and sony 777 SACD. If I buy this speaker, what do you guys think of the front end, souce etc. will it be OK, THe cables are MIT Terminator CVTT, and intercoonects are Cardas Cross, and Kimber KCAG. Your comments helpful, before I buy the speakers. THanks.
