Like everyone i got scammed out of $400 outside of a bank in Calgary. Guy comes up to me in a white astro van, shows me ID, invoices, brochures, etc. He's calm, cool, collected, tells me to come out later in the week to have beers with him and his buddies, f'ing moron. Said they were overstock, ordered 6 got 6 pair. Wanted $600, but he said he would take $400. I'm such an idiot, I should have known. The pulls up to me at a f'ing bank and says these speakers are top of the line. Everything said it was bull, but no, I'll buy them and sell them for big profit, whatever. Most of reviews I read are from Ontario, but I saw the guy a couple of hours ago in Calgary. Haven't tried the speakers yet, but I got them out of the box and I know already they are not worth it. For $400 they may be worth it. I have small apartment so they may be good, but I'm just pissed that I got scammed. If you run into this guy watch out.

Product: Samaurai Speakers I have now joined the brotherhood of the scammed. Well I Just bought some crappy Samaurai speakers from some guy in a parking lot at Don Mills and Steeles about an hour ago. I only stopped there to buy 2 tires for my car. He was a persistent little as@hole, who wouldn't take no for an answer. I thought I was slick. I interrogated him for 30 minutes, he had an answer for everything. He ended up scamming me out of $200. He showed me receipts, and a piece of sh@t laminated spec sheet. He gave me the same bullsh@t overstock story. The man even hooked them up so I could listen to them! They sounded fine! The fag gave me a sob story about five children, and how he was coming back from a delivery from City TV . after I handed him the money. The cocky bast@rd had the audacity to give me a receipt for the list price of $2800, and some 5yr bullsh@t warrenty. The f@uckin troll said all I had to do was go to: Westmont Corp. 75 West Beaver Ceek unit #9 Richmond Hill, ON ask for a mythical man named Steve. Who would hook me up with any repairs I needed Just like the endless list of other victims. I went home to see how much they were worth. Typed the name in the search engine, pressed enter, and a list of scam sites came up. The guy was driving a red minivan with the license plate AMFE 304. When I hooked them up at home, only one of them sounded alright, the other one sounds like sh@t. That guy better hope I never see him again. BECAUSE I AM GOING TO BEAT EVERY PENNY HE TOOK ME FOR, OUT OF HIS FAT, SWEATY FACE!!!. If you live in the Toronto area, and have a similar story, email me. I want to start my own "coalition" against evil. The name of or campaign can be "Toronto Freedom" P.S: Fu@k going through the U.N, because we are going to break every rule in the fu@kin GENEVA CONVENTION! CAN I GET A HELL YEAH!!!

Good sound, Very loud, no distortion, look good

Weak on base

I bought 4 of these speakers for 900, And i dont regret it, i was actually impressed with how they sound, quality are very good and you can crank up the volume no problem the only disavantage about them is their's a lack of base, but i didn't buy these speakers for base, if your just looking for speakers with good volume and sound, buy DrafDale Pro Series

They are loud!

Not enough bass

We paid 200 for both speakers. I am not overly impressed but they are not the worst sounding speakers I have ever heard. I agree about not having alot of bass. It is good for 70's rock tunes with lots of acoustic guitar playing. I would buy another set for $200.00 but no more now that I have read other peoples reviews. I thing we got off lucky.

err....i guess they've crossed the waters! i bought a pair too. set em up, havent had a good listen yet but - sound ok, not much distortion if any. can go well loud. its a pity there isnt any legit information about them on the net. mine are called PSD 2.8, same story different speakers. im not a hifi nut - but what should i look for to see if i have fookin amazing speakers/ average 1st time buyer speakers / or bags of poo. i guess its all personal preference, but i'd hate to look at em and think they're rubbish from reading all these reviews when actually they're not that bad.

hahaha. I just got fu#ked meself today, paid 260 for a pair. But i have to say i've never laughed so hard reading reviews of other people being screwed. Read all the reviews if you have the time, it'll make you feel better. All i can say is that i've made my own boxes a couple of years ago and the material alone was about 80-100/box so i guess if you're really pissed off think of the towers as good boxes. Replace the speakers when you can afford to. But i sure could have held on to that money i tell you...Watch out for those kids, they are operating in Vancouver in February 2003.

I've done a little research and they appear to be opperating in and throughout these countries: USA, CANADA, and the UK. I thought I was getting a good deal. Okay I knew it was a little shaddy, but these guys had specs and invoces and the lot. I wanted to test the sound quality before I bought them so I convinced them to bring them to my house. the guy took one look at my system and quickly took them back to his van and showed me there -- with a bad signal on the radio... when i checked them at home they sound really really bad. these things aren't even worth £100. £60 at the most.

I too have met these men and fell for the same scam i paid £150 for them they were at aston uni in a white van on the 17th feb 03. the speakers seem to be pretty good i hav'nt had any trouble with them yet!
