Strength:
Nice high sound, clear vocals, some mid - bass taste to it.
Weakness:
none I bought these speakers at cicuit city in 1994. They worked great with my Velodyne VA1210 subwoofer. (INSTANT SUB-SAT SYSTEM !!!). Plus i have them on 3ft stands. So when i sit on my couch, the speakers are at ear level. Similar Products Used: none |

Strength:
Clear Highs, good Mid-bass.
Weakness:
Not too much deep bass, but these are bookshelves. I had used these as my primary speakers in my Pro-Logic System. They sounded good, but there wasn't too much deep bass. That was solved by a powered subwoofer. Now I have them as my surround speakers in my Dolby Digital Sytem, and they work perfectly!! They are set to small, because they really can't handle deep bass. If you have a small reciever, they are good mains, but they are better suited for surround applications. Similar Products Used: Aiwa Bookshelves, Yamaha Bookshelves |

a Casual Listener
I may be a casual listener but I tell the difference between good sound and bad sound. I live in a dorm full of music major/Audiophiles anyway and they all like my speakers. I got the at an online auction for about $65 total (includes shipping) Anyway, they sound great. The bass is surprisingly...there, they can actually handle the lows that much of my music needs to go. Mind you I'm upgrading from a pair of P.O.S rca bookshelf mini-system speakers with cardboard woofer and tweeter. |

Strength:
Very clear highs. They can get loud enough that the treble will hurt your ears.
Weakness:
Well, they are bookshelf speakers, so the bass isn't really deep, or loud. These were perfect speakers when I was just starting with stereo equipment. They let me appreciate good, clear sound. They served me well in my dorm room, coupled with the sub I had. Now, I've invested in a good pair of Klipsch RF-3s for my fronts, but I'm still using the Infinity bookshelf speakers for my rears, and they sound spectacular. They give the precision the rears need, and let the fronts and the sub take care of all the lows. Its a good buy for anyone looking for good, but not necissarily extremely loud, sound.
