Great speakers when properly installed. At least 20 inches from the back wall and 30 inches from the side walls. You have to put the on 18 inches stand and connect them with good wires at least grade 16. You will be surprise. Of course your amp should be a good one with a minimum of 60 watts per channel. |

Weakness:
i am proudly to say NONE! Great speakers. i use them in a 5.1 setup as my main speakers and they shake my bed. base is unbelievable. no problem with tweeters not being good enough. JBL rocks. wouldn't buy any other speakers. Similar Products Used: none |

Strength:
These are excellent speakers. They have awesome bass and good midrange. Really good price too. i got the pair for $125.
Weakness:
Treble isn't great, but i don't care They are really good speakers overall. I just started building my system but they still sound great. I really like the bass they have. The only minor flaw is the treble response. i would recommend them to anyone looking for excellent speakers at a low cost. Similar Products Used: none |

I paid CDN$280 and they weren't worth that price, but I didn't realise that until I got other speakers to compare them to. Had I gotten them at $180, I'd say it was a pretty good deal, though. |

Strength:
Full sound, a nice add to my surround sound, which had small front speakers. Price of $89.00 was great.
Weakness:
None so far. Great addition to my existing system. It sounds much fuller and clean. While watching movies, in surround sound, you feel like you are in the theater. Limp, Kid, and Blink all sound kill on these speakers. Similar Products Used: Pioneer HTP-100 |

Strength:
Good Bass for the size. They replace much larger speakers
Weakness:
Less high end than I'd like but I prefer bass anyways so it's just a minor point Paired with a Yamaha RX-360 receiver and Yamaha CDX-560 CD player in a small apartment the sound is very nice, even on FM radio. I'm even thinking about adding the smaller JBL 500 speakers to the system. Certainly for the price I paid ($200.00 Canadian) I am impressed. I did listen in a listening room at the store and they sounded better from across the room, but the sound at home was much better than the store demo.
