Strength:
Titanium tweeter produces sharp treble for the high frequencies, and the 10" woofers hold their own when busting out the lows.
Weakness:
Midrange is a little iffy. Nothing to really complain about when you consider the price though. I bought my JBL's from Cost-Co for 400 bucks canadian. The highs are good, and so are the lows, but the midrange is not as well defined. These are great speakers for hip-hop as the 10" woofers produce great bass and at pretty low frequencies (36 Hz). My advice to you: Bi-wire these babies. I cannot stress how much this improves sound quality and overall output. Similar Products Used: I've listened to my friend's Paradigm's. They sound significantly clearer than my JBL's and they're not even bi-wired. scary. They're also more than twice the price of my speakers, so that shouldn't be all that suprising. |
