incredibly deep and wide soundstage,clean highs/mids,very deep articulated lows

for some people maybe the looks.....

i bought my century gold's just 3 days ago and allready
like them enough to post this review.
it usualy takes me much longer to get used to new gear
but these speakers are so easy on the ears,it was
love at first sight....ehh,....sound.
they very easily cope with everything i throw at them,
from beethoven to the chemical brothers.
and they do so with great detail,clarity and pinpoint
precision.bass is laid back but goes deep and can
pack a helluva punch when it needs to.
the soundstage is amazing, when i close my eyes its
not just two suberbly crafted mahogany boxes standing
in my living room,its jimmy page & the black crowes
inviting me to shake my money maker.
do you know the feeling,sitting in your favourit chair
at 2:00 am with a big pile of cd's/records next to you,
and unable to stop yourself smiling and grinning
every other minute because it just sounds so damn fine??
that's what they do for me...
i really think these speakers are worth every cent
of their original $ 5000 price
mine are brand new and costed $ 1350
need i say more?

oh ...,i use them with a vincent sv231 integrated amp
and marantz cd17 ki signature
