Very good as a rear surround speaker

Can't handle a lot of bass.

I picked this pair up at Circuit City for $80 when I started out in Home theater. I originally used them as my front stereo speakers because I was on a budget, but after a few months realized they would be much more effective as rear surround speakers. They produce great mid-range tones. Overall it was $80 well spent.

Picked up these babies at Frye's Electronics in Arlington on sale for about $50 on the pair!! Unbelievable deal on these!! They sound superb, and have a great tonal response sitting on the shelves in my office at home. I can play anything from Metal to Classical on these and they hold their own. Crisp trebles and punchy bass add to the quality of sound they produce. If they were any bigger, I'd put them in my livingroom!
Simply a super buy for the price, and the sound is a constant reminder of that value. Pick up a pair if you can. Even at $100/pr. they're worth every cent!
