Absolutely fabulous sound. Wide dynamic sound stage, with great bass response. I have heard many speakers as an audio salesman, but few compare to these for the price.

These are discontinued speakers, but if you can find a pair pick them up, you will not be disappointed. When used in series with a good subwoofer these will destroy almost any powered tower out on the market today.

I have had my pair of JBL L-5's for a few years now, and for the money i have never heard any speaker come close to reproducing the rich, natural sounds of this speaker system. I wanted to get a pair of the L-7's and run them for my center stage, but JBL decided to discontinue this line for reasons i do not know. IF anyone wants to sell a pair of L-7's please email me.
