I have loved the Rotel 1080 since day one, but it has always been a little edgy and fatiguing for me particularly at very high volumes on less then perfectly recorded/mastered material. The 7.1 definitely took care of the glare problem and showed me what the paradigms were truly capable of from the upper midrange to the very top of their frequency response, and ended my idea of needing a speaker upgrade. Very little bass and most of all, they absolutely do not provide a clear crispy sound.

I'm waiting for my new speakers to be delivered and as a perfect service from Polectro Plaza, they temporarily provided me with these "fine" speakers (NOT!). I can't wait to listen to the speakers I have in backorder. Comparing them with these will be without any doubt promising...

One advice: don't buy these if you can affort more expensive ones!

Fresh, very clear in mid range sound / hi tweeter performance

lack of bass and need high power amp

worth the money and different style for the users.
match the high power amp will be excellent.
just for a frist step audiophile.
