This speaker was power hungary until Me and my son bypased the voltage transformer and switch. these babies came alive
filling my pool area with fantastic sound. If you purchase these for home use you should try the same.

Performance to price ratio

Low bass out put,.Inefficient for Klipsch speakers

Strong performance from these speakers for the price ($200 for the pair) I auditioned the Klipsch HS2's and Several models from Bose and AR and came away most impressed with the HS1's due to their performance and low cost.They are pretty short on bass which is no surprise as most outdoor speakers are.Other than the low bass output I really can find no glaring fault with these speakers.
I would recommend these speakers _without hesistation_ to anyone wanting good, clean, sound outdoors.
