GREAT SOUND, LOW PRICE. GOT these great speakers from UBID.com for the price of $220/pair. Sound amazingly great, the 8 inches woofer and the bass-reflex design handle deep bass well. Try these speakers with my favorite CD and movie. Proven to handle both situation well. Similar Products Used: POLK RT3 |

Strength:
Clarity in Bass Signal
Weakness:
None I have been using these speakers for a year or so, and like them. The better the equipment used with them, the better they sound. But they are ruthlessly revealing. If the signal you send them is crap, you'll get crap out. Put in a good quality signal, and you will love the three dimensionality, huge soundstage, incredible imaging and deep, tight bass. The fit, finish and quality is A1. These are a wonderful pair of speakers, and a bargain at the price I paid for them ($375.00/pair at www.cyberteria.com). |

Strength:
Clarity at lower power levels. Crispness.
Weakness:
Box design. I bought these used from the sole high end dealer in San Antonio, Bjorn's. I was definitey surprise at how good they sound in comparison to Bose bookshelves. I am using them as fronts and surrounds and it seems like I am hearing a lot more from the surrounds than previously. Anyway, they also sound great for music. I am defintely pleased with them and would recommend them. The square black box design weakness is minor. They are good sized, heavy bookshelves and I guess I need to replace the tv trays they are on with real furniture. A plus was the price. I got 4 of these speakers and a Klipsch center channel speaker for $600. Even used I thought this was a great deal for the quality. Similar Products Used: Cerwin Vega, Bose. |

Strength:
Price and sound quality
Weakness:
none so far Once the 3.1s were broken in they sounded great. Paid $100 each for them and don't have any complaints. Even the bass sounds good from these guys. I turn up the volume and they sound even better. A great speaker for the price. Sure I could of paid a few more hundred for another speaker...but why? These guys sound great at all volume levels. If you are putting together a suround sound system get a pair and see for yourself. Similar Products Used: Infinity, JBL |

Strength:
Warm, deep lows and crystal-clear highs. Great, natural sound.
Weakness:
None These speakers are just flat-out awesome. The level of clarity is just unbelieveable, especially for speakers that cost less than $200 a pop. I was lucky to get these on Ubid for about $150 each and I slowly built up my a/v system from that and my Nakamichi receiver which I also got from Ubid. I initially bought these speakers for music listening, but lately I started building a home theater set-up from this too, and it also sounds great. |

I've had Klipsh KSB line for nearly a year now and have found them to be superb speakers for HT. Just recently upgraded my reciever to Denon's Flagship AVR5700 and all Monster Z cables. Did not realize the full potential of the Klipsch! We listened and watched "The Matrix" with this setup and were very pleased overall. Dialogue and effects were tight and accurate. Very powerful passages were clean and undistorted, while soft suble moments were heard without strain Cannot overemphasize the need to use good speaker cables to bring out the best from Klipsch Synergy Series! I was looking to upgrade my speakers but then found that by simply upgrading cables, I acheived the full HT experience. KSB 3.1 are musically pleasing as well in direct mode (tone defeat on). I found them to be quite engaging even when put side by side up against the high end Paradigm Monitor Series. I recently auditioned Monitor 9 and found the price at $695 could not be justified after hearing them with Klipsch KSB 3.1 which I purchased for $269. Mind you the Paradigm Monitor 9s are floor standing 2.5 way speakers with 2- 8 inch drivers. Admittedly the Paradigms were a little more musical, soundstage depth was a little better, and bass was a little lower; but overall at 3 times the price of Klipsch 3.1 I think I'll be audtioning a lot more speakers in the future. If you are looking for good value and a rock solid ensemble for Home Theatre, the Denon / Klipsch is hard to beat. Strength:
Superb sound and clarity from a small speaker. Price as compared to its equal in higher end speakers. Can handle lots of power, on up to 110 watts and above.
Weakness:
As mentioned, bass is a little weak. Replace my KLH 3001 with these wonderful speakers. I was new to Klipsch, but wound up buying a full matched system. Similar Products Used: KLH 3001 |
