I purchased these speaker about a year ago and have been really pleased. They are powered by a Carver HR875 amp. Nothing spectacular, however these speaker sound great no matter what CD I am playing. I also have the Centrix center channel and they are more than adequate for surround sound. The sound stage on these speakers can't be touched in this price range. I compared them to B&W and PSB alpha's. The blow away the B&W and are less money. The PSB sounded fairly descent and were cheaper, but when it came down to it these were worth the extra $500. If you are looking for some speakers in this price range, make sure you take the time to listen to these. Exceptionally clear and tight.

Not an audiophile product, but top value in any respect!
