Strength:
Unbelievable full sound - you're there!
Weakness:
Bass needs help / looks like a good scratching post for my two cats Stop the test! I only listened to these in order to go through the motions and to try and do a thorough listening test. Had already read by many that these were only good if you wanted "light" music; ie: vocal & acoustic guitar. Certainly this was not me! (Peter Gabriel / Allman Bros / Sara) Had been through the Paradigm studio 100s & 80s and was headed toward the Def Teks, with these as a rest stop in between. Simply unbelievable sound with even casual placement in the listening room. Skipped the Def Teks testing (per friends advice) and had a Paradigm servo 15 added to fill in bass/sub. They had to drag me out when the place closed! Can't wait to get these home and justify total system price to wife. Take note tho. I'm certainly no audiophile - I've been putting us with sub-standard music for way too long... Similar Products Used: Paradigm studio 100s / 80 |

Weakness:
Can't really think of one right now. Bass is Okay but you should use a Sub anyway. They are pricey Driving these with a Denon AVR 5800. These speakers provide wonderful detail in both music and HT. Similar Products Used: Infinity RS, B&K, Linn |
