Had the SL3's for 20 years. Thought they were great. The ethos is beyond belief. The highs and lows are mind blowing. Not cheap, but I cannot say enough great things. If you have the money do yourself a favor. Can't say enough good things!!!!

As perfect as I can expected. The sound seem to appear right in-front of my face.
Listening through Vinyl and CD/SACD and both format sound incredible -- clear and never sound as good as any speaker I ever had.

My first experience with Martin Logan was in 1995 and I did tried various high end speakers and this ethos beat all of them easily -- its the perfect speaker for my listening joy. I mostly listen to Jazz, but I did tried listening to R&B, Classic Rock etc and it does sound better than I expected.

You can really feel the bass with this speaker. I pair it with my OLD SONY 1000ESD and Rotel Power Amp 70watt. I am in the process of buying Macintosh MA8000 an integrated amp to keep my system simple!

I recommend to anyone to try it out, it would be better to try it out at your home environment.
