Just spent a Long afternoon reviewing these speakers, the low-end was extremlygood for a small bookself speaker. Actually it was very accurate. The highs,were
very detailed and Male and female vocals blew me away. They used a Focal
tweeter with a German midrainge driver. The workman ship was flawless and
the combination of the drivers was a match made in heaven. Listen to Famous
Blue Raincoat and The Hunter by Jennifer Warnes and the song Way Down deep,
was never done so good. Enjoy these if you get a chance! My ears loved them.

clarity, detail, precision, brings all details out of the music

low end, but no surprise for a bookshelf

this speaker is amazing, and because you can only buy it used you can pick one up for under $1000. i checked out university audio madison, wi where they had some. these speakers will do wonders for any system. if you are into jazz, salsa, or any music which has a lot of small instruments putting together one big sound you will be impressed.
