Those Mirage are one of the best value for the price when it introduce. There traditional setup creates warm and wide mid range. Your ears will still wanted to listen to them after hours of music. The setup also allows you to do Bi-amp / bi-wire. If you do have those speakers be sure to get them at least bi-wire. That is when the speaker comes to live. The response and bass dramatically improves. For the price of bookshelf you are getting a performance of mid tower.

Excellent bass response
Weakness:
The 390is often referred to as the poor man’s Totem Arro and for good reason.

Strength:
Great all arounders,. Excellent midrange
Weakness:
could have better bass, ok considering 6" driver I have used these speakers with everything from a 15 year old Kenwood integrated to a CJ CAV50. They play really great off low powered amps like small rotels or nad. They continue to sound better when you improve your system around them. The midrange is revealing and the trebble a little laid back. Bass is tight and gets lower if you put power to them. Similar Products Used: mission, paradigm |
