Strength:

Excellent sound, value

Weakness:

None whatsoever

These are an excellent set of bookshelf speakers for the price ($250) and I highly recommend them. The sound is very clean and crisp, with excellent highs and lows. These speakers can be used for pretty much any type of music and they also sound great as front speakers in a home theatre set-up. I have had them for over a year now and couldn't be happier with them. I also have a powered subwoofer in my system which I use for both music and movies (it has a toggle to switch between those settings, so that helps) because I wanted a powered sub for home theatre anyway and these speakers do not have enough bass for my taste. This does not diminish their quality and performance, however, since they are after all bookshelf speakers and therefore simpy not built to put out a lot of bass. These speakers are as good as any that I've heard in the $250-$400/pr price range.
