Weakness:
poor sound quality, muffled bass, no imaging If anyone has heard a worse speaker please let me know. I recently traded my front speakers for a complete Mission system and cash. Man what a MISTAKE. These 732's are terrible right from the design. Who puts a tweeter almost in the middle of the speaker??? There are no strengths I can find with this speaker. Possibly the worst I've ever owned. They might be a good deal if you buy them for under $100.00. I've used them with both 2 channel and home theatre. I have no use for them for music and with movies they are just OK. I even went to overkill and hooked them up with my KRELL amp to get the best possible sound and still didn't impress me. Maybe if you're a kid around 12 years old you might think these speakers are fine but if you're looking for any kind of quality STAY AWAY. |

Clear Mid Range
Weakness:
Lack of Bass but that is to be expected from a monitors I see that many people here don't like these speakers. But I think you expect to much from a small boofhels speakers. These speakers sound great for the price paid. You also need to use right cables and components for them to sound right. I use Vampire wire interconnects, Quad 303 amp, NAD CD player, Pioneer record player and H/K pre amp. For speaker wire I use AudioQuest SR 1404. The combination works great and it bets all the speakers in their price range. If you expect high end speakers for 150-200 better look someplace esle. Similar Products Used: KEF, JBL, Tannoy |
