Discreet and stylish, nicely defined subwoofer for smaller rooms.

Tricky wall mounted installation, a little tinny and lacking in mid range.

The b&w setup was a much nicer and warmer sound and although the main speakers lacked subwoofer clarity for special effects, the system had a better range. The mission FS2-AV has it's advantages in freeing up the space that all the B&W's took up, but overall sound left a little to be desired. Ideal though for smaller rooms like mine.

Clarity, dispersion and detail of the audio output, very inconspicuous speakers.

Very minor negative, lack of stereocity

Superb system. I have it set up with a Sony STRDB940 AV receiver and a rather inexpensive Wharfedale DVD.

The audio output from such small speakers is amazing and as they are corner mounted, they are next to invisible. The bass unit is hidden behind the TV and takes up no space. The sound is very clear and 'airy', it manages to fill up the room very well. There was no trouble setting the system up as positioning the speakers isn't important.

The system works best as an A/V setup. For pure audio, the speakers are very good but lack the stereocity of normal speakers so it is difficult to pinpoint exacly where the sound comes from. Althought this works great for films, it feels a bit strange for pure hi-fi. However, I see this as a minor minus point.

Overall, a truly excellent piece of A/Vphilia!
