can sound un-exiting.top end could be better.

i bought my mordaunt's at a bargain price from new.at a reasonable volume they sound good, but at low listening levels, they just lose atmosphere.for this reason i'm changing to mission 701's as they have a better top end, and having auditioned them, i know they sound good at lower volume levels. what i'll miss is their good looks!

Lack focus in midrange.

If you only listen to techno music, you will like this pair of speakers. Bass is strong and extended, you can go really loud and it keeps pumping. Main weakness lies in midrange, lacks focus.
