the ms20ipearls are an exelent speakers a have owend a peair for two years now and have only heard better at this price from the ms812's thay have a fast punchy bass, the mid-range is the beat thing about theas speakers gutars have real impact and are very detaled the ms812's have better treble but the midrange is silghty smoother so i like the 20's mid better but over all pefer the 812's the b&w's have a sweater treble and an over all easer lisen and the tagent's don't even come close

fine focus, excellent detail and a very clean, clear sound. tight bass with wide sweet spot.

a well-built small speaker offering technological benefits far greater than most others on the market today, and that includes most high-end models. in my system the sound is light, but the system is quite forward (Pioneer A-400 and Pioneer PD-S705 CD).

they outperform my old tannoy m2 speakers in all areas except bass depth, although the tannoy's bass was not quite hi-fi being slow (25-30 Hz in room usually makes for a slower response!).

try them with something smoother than my Pioneer setup (eg Arcam Alpha 8r) and you will get a magic sound. If you want the most detail in a system under a thousand pounds, buy Pioneer UK model separates and these speakers!
