Strength:

Great sound. Easily comparable to speaker 2x its price. More detail than I thought I'd be hearing.

Weakness:

Need quality power.

I listen to movies and mutichanel concerts 99.5% of the time so this review is solely based on that. My system consists of all Paradigm. Studio 60's as mains, Studio cc690 as center, Atom Monitor for surrounds and a PW2200 provides bass below 80hz. Power and processing comes from a Pioneer Elite 91TXH receiver.

The Studio 60 and cc690 both have a sensitivity of 91db, but I can tell you right now my receiver does not have enough juice to really power them to their true potential. All my listening is done at max roughly 95db. Any louder and I start hearing distortion and the the tweeter flies out of control. But within the receivers power, they are fantastic sounding, rich in detail and imaging. I've found myself digging through my 300+ movie collection to listen to things again and listening for what I missed every other time I watched them. I don't want to give a comprehensive review until I upgrade my amp. Just know that if you love watching movies, these are the speakers for you, just give them plenty of clean power and you'll be thrown into a new universe of sound in the comfort of your home.

Strength:

Sound quality, wall of sound, imaging, finish and connectors.
They even sound full at low volumes.
A quality Canadian product.

Weakness:

None. Some argue they are a home theater speaker but I am completely satisfied and find them to be extremely musical.

These speakers blow me away. I am running them as a two channel setup with a sub. They are very clear, have great imaging and create a wall of sound. I am constantly thinking there are speakers behind me and it sounds like there is a center channel. I am in love with this sound and cannot believe what I was missing out on before. The tweeters sound tight and precise. Mids are accurate and the woofers sound great (not boomy just realistic). Overall a very balanced speaker that I have no complaints about. Mine have the rosenut finish and they look beautiful.

Customer Service

Paradigm website promptly answered my questions about upgrading my old phantoms.
