Good sound in a small package. Crisp treble, clean midrange.

no low bass (of course, this is a bookshelf speaker)

I am using these speakers as my dorm room system. They're paired with a Yamaha RX-V496 and a Polk Audio PSW120. Simply put, this setup blows any one else on the floor away :)

The imaging from these small boxes is spectacular for such a small package, however they are relativly unforgiving in terms of speaker placement (its very hard to get good placement in a dorm room). Treble is crisp, and the midrange is unbelievable. I have never heard a speaker at this size and price point deliver such amazing performance with such a wide varity of music.

While other speakers like the PSB's or the Paradigms may have better bass, the Teatro 4.5's blow them away in terms of detail and clairity. Overall, one of the best purchases I've ever made.
