These speakers are amazing.
They put the so many of the above so called "prestigious" speakers to shame with respect to fidelity.
They offer, superb bass response, clean articulate midrange, airy and open highs.
My only gripe is the vinyl finish which Pinnacle says they are working on new finishes for this spring.
However, these speakers are still nice looking nonetheless and their sound boggles the mind. They are by far the best sounding speakers I have ever heard for under $3000/ pair.
The nice thing is they can be had for only $1450 with a 10 year warranty !!!

Weakness:

NONE, I LIKE THE ALL BLACK LOOK WITH THE BRONZE GOLD PINNACLE NAME PLATE

Like the other reviewers of these speakers I give them a 5 star rating right up front. They sound absolutely unbelivable. I hooked these up to my old Sansui 2000 32 watts per channel receiver and could not believe how they sounded. They are very efficient and did not overload the Sansui at all. I am hearing sounds from my CD's and tapes that I never heard before. I got a new Onkyo TX-8511 for Christmas with 100 watts per channel and the sound is even better. See my review of the Onkyo under receivers. I do not think it is possible to equal the sound of this combination for under $3000.00. I was only interested in a 2 channel stero system for music and this combination is just terrific. The clarity, sound stage, presence are astounding. I could find no weakness in these speakers. I never thought I could afford this kind of sound for the money this system cost me. If you like music and are not interested in 5 channel check out this system especially the
speakers. These speakers would be great for main front channel speakers also. Pinnacel specializes in home theater
systems and has superior front and rear speakers also.

I have spent some hours listening to these speakers and I must say they are amazing.I compared them with speakers in the $1000-$3000 price and they more than held their own.
Very transparent sounding, musical, deep bass extension, clear and precise mids, free from bass bloat.
My only gripe is the finish, but it does not look bad. I'd rather have the money go towards the excellent drivers used in these speakers than a fancy finish such as a B&W speaker which looks good but sounds like an oil can.
I bought these speakers direct after comparing them with others for several weeks.

Strength:

When one puts the juice to them, they ask for more.
Ten year warranty. Very clear and clean sound.

Weakness:

There is only one choice for the finish...But with this
speaker, Who cares?

I used Polk RTA11 towers for front speakers over
eight long years. Three years after the five year warranty ran out, the left tweeter took a dump. The next week
the right one followed. I owned them only nine months
when one of the lower mids went south. They sounded
pretty good. The Pinnacles sound even better, and they
are video shielded. Reckon nobody was thinking about that
back in '92. The Pinnacles are less fussy about room
placement. They are a bit power hungy, but I can turn up
the volume. I'll keep these speakers for a long time.
The wife doesn't believe me on that one.
Here is what I have for my system, for those that give
a rat's whatsit: Panasonic CT-34WX50 Wide Screen TV
Toshiba SD-3108 DVD Player
Toshiba M-752 VHS Player
Sony SL-HF360 HI-FI Beta Player
Sony TC-WR11ES Cassette Deck
Denon AVR-95 Receiver
Denon DCM-60 CD Player
Pinnacle Classic Gold Aerogel Towers
Pinnacle AC-400 (backs)
Jamo Center 160
Mirage PS-8 Subwoofer
Philips Pronto Remote
AudioSource Amp One/A (for porch spkrs)
AudioSource Amp Three (runs the Aerogels)
Optimus Pro-7AV 4 inch spkrs (porch)
The Pinnacles are a good buy, and they sound great...trust
me.( I got them for hundreds under list of $1795.00. )
