Strength:
decent bass. definable mids and highs
Weakness:
none for the price really but if I had one it would be that on some music they sound muddy. But maybe that might be the cheap low end cables that I am using Audio is to be enjoyed, rather it is two channel or the all engulfing surround sound offered in new music or movies. Recently I have gone from mid-fi good components to low high-end/high-end exceptional components. The RTI12 speakers sounded good with my Sony DB930 receiver and Sony DVP-9000ES but when I upgraded to separate components they came alive. This review is not to give the false elusion that they can compete with high-end speakers but for the money they are gooood speakers. My intent is to upgrade to a pair of used B&W 802’s and @ 4 grand used I am expecting a blow me away upgrade. But until I can recoup from the other components that I just recently purchased, these will do. And I must say that I am in no hurry and I can live with them. Again, these are very good speakers for the price and I would highly recommend them to anyone that has a decent receiver or separate components. You won’t be disappointed.
