I have auditioned numerous speakers both in the price range and in the higher range of the ProAc i.e. Joseph RM22, Audiophysic, Tablette 2000Sig, ML, Totem, SonusFaber Signum etc. The ProAc just blew those speaker away!! They image superbly with sweet mid/high. Bass is not ground-shaking bass but a quality tight bass. I am certainly satisfied with the bass response given the size of the cabinet. This is "the" speaker. Listen yourself!!!

I am a mini-monitor lover and these are by far, the best in my room. However, you must feed them with quality equipment, once everything is right, ahhhhh.... you are in heaven. Very musical and detailed with enough bass for my room. They disappear into the music with good quality recordings. Five stars up!!!
