Strength:
i own lb1 signature they sound live, good listening at low volume, good bass. they invite you to listen to the music not the equipment never came across a speaker like this, special, warm, open.accurate acurate placing of the instruments. honnest!!!!!! they impress me still after 10 years musical wow experience speaker, not much problems with room shape or difficult rooms between a monitor and a floorstanding speaker potent live speaker but not harch. music is what they do, where ever you are walking in the room. Weakness:
uhhhhh, mmmm difficult sometimes a bit nearfield, not often. compared to much more expensive speakers a bit less detail, but compensatethat with livellyness and open bass Purchased: Used

Strength:
nature sound, deep bass, good for all kinds of music. I upgarded LB1 classic to LB1 signature. PMC LB1signature sounds cleaner, more dynamic, and better soundstage. It worth the extra money for the signature model. It is still an outstanding bookshelf loudspeaker to make music live. |

Strength:
Neutrality, Rhythm and Pace. Does Not Add or Subtract Anything Into The Music. If You Favour Neutral Speakers, This Is the One To Consider
Weakness:
Very Deep Bass. I Compensate This With A Subwoofer. However, In Most Applications, The Bass Is Very Good For A Minimonitor And Would Suffice The Less Demanding Audio Enthusiast. In Comparison with the N805, The Bass Goes Deeper, Tauter & More Precise. These were the LB1 Signatures which replaced the Classics.

Strength:
unfatigue, natural sound, good bass extension.
Weakness:
not beautiful speakers even in yew finish Most people criticize the bass extension of their mini monitors. LB-1's bass goes really deep (40Hz) and well defined. The MAX SPL > 114dB. I can't believe the big sound produced by a transmission line loaded 110mm Dynaudio bass driver. |

Strength:
Bass is simply stunning for a mini monitor. Mids and highs also great especially on female vocals.
Weakness:
Not the prettiest pair of speakers Fantastic speakers!!! Similar Products Used: B&W CDM 1 SE, CDM 1 NT, CDM 7 NT, Nautilus 802, Nautilus 805, Genesis 351, Theil 3.6, 2.3 PMC TB2 and FB1. Dynaudio Confidence 5. |
