I have had a set of Sansui SP-Z9II since mid 80's. They still sound as good today as they did when purchased. I must admit they have been moved all over the world, as I was in the military for several years. They seem virtually indestructable. And...I have tried to blow them! I have a 100 watt pc receiver at this time. Does anyone know the max pc these speakers will safely accept?

I found a Pair of Sansui S-U660 3-Way BookShelf Speakers at 1 of the Internat Auctions and do they sound great, in fact i have not found anything that canmatch them, they are soooooo goooood i got 2 more sets, im going to use 1 set as rear speakers and i gave the other set to my Son....and he Thanked "Dear Old Dad" he hooked them up to his HK 20 II and he couldn't believe the difference..

I just can't say enough good things about the 660's... so if u r on a budget,
giv'em a look.. u could spend Hunderds and not come up with a better set of Speakers... !!!

An excellent set of speakers, the classic bass reflex type, about 12 years old and still working ! Wooden enclosure with 18.5 inch vented woofer with
EPCD diaphragm. Also contains 8.5" titanium midrange, 2 6.5" horn tweeters
and two dome super tweeters. Max power is 320W each and also has level
indicators and balance control on each speaker. Sensitivity is 102 dB
SPL/W/m and FR is 22-23000 Hz within 3 dB. Sounds great on rock or classical
music and AWESOME on movie laserdiscs with added surround system. Connected
to Pioneer SA9500II integrated amp and still beats the neighbours (and my
dad's) 5000$+ systems by a wide margin (universal opinion). That's it!
