Great sound, both highs and Lows. Small compact size. Port on the front. Grill is nicely done. Speaker looks and sounds like it should cost more.

Cabinet is thin and very light, but hey for $50/pair 100watts each, you don't have any rights to complain.

I put these Sony speakers in my car. Yes in my car, here's why. I live in a neighborhood where detatchable face car stereos are a must. I have an awesome bass box and all that stuff for my car. I took them out in order to prevent break ins in my car. I still want decent sound from the back coz the 4in. speakers in front suck.

I was going to get a 6x9 and a box for the back but I would have to spend about $150, and still worry about theft.

So I thought about getting a small book shelf so that it won't look tempting and would not hurt so much ($50) if it were to get stolen.

I auditioned the Bose 141, it sounds decent, but it lacks bass and high end. And for $80 a pair I expected it to sound good, especially with the Bose name. But what a disappointment it was. I feel sorry for those suckers who get ripped off by buying their more expensive acoutimass systems, ouch!!! $1500.

So far these Sony sound and look great and for the price, you just CAN'T do any better.

GO OUT AND BUY THEM!!!!!!!!

I replaced my speakers on my Stereo System to these speakers I am verry pleased with them considering the price. It has Nice Treble and Great Midrange but not much bass, I can allways get a sub.
